Focusing on sculpture, we will introduce you to the artists personally and see some of their finished works, as well as works in progress. Another feature of this tour is experiencing how sculptures of different materials and varied processes are made You’ll be able to see, firsthand, armatures, different types of clay and stone, patinas, stone carving made with hand and power tools and various molds of rubber, silicone and plaster.   This is truly a unique opportunity to see creative minds at work! CHUNG KING ROAD: LA’s Chinatown is located downtown, east of the Music Center. In the late 1990s, the Chung King Road area, a 500 foot pedestrian alley, became popular with emerging artists and gallery owners. Today it is the home of art galleries and antique shops. Join us for a walk through old Chinatown….and why not end it by enjoying sumptuous Dim Sum at one of the many restaurants nearby. (Tours can be scheduled Wednesday through Saturday)

GALLERY ROW: Located in downtown Los Angeles on Spring and Main streets is an area called Gallery Row. This is the newest and perhaps the most vibrant arts district in the LA area.
